This course initially introduces students to the fundamental concepts of marketing as they pertain to event management. As the course progresses, these concepts and principles are applied to the event marketplace where a disciplined approach to the planning and execution of marketing strategies is introduced. This is a hands-on, practical course where students learn the aspects of marketing through lectures, discussions, case studies and practical workshops.
