In this course, student will discover what data is and think about what questions need to be answered by the data in a built environment context. Based on existing data, students will learn to develop a research question, describe the variables and their relationships, calculate basic statistics, and present results clearly. By the end of the course, students will be able to use powerful data analysis tools to manage and visualize data, in consideration of how to deal with missing data, variable groups, and graphs.
