In this course students learn the theory and application of building energy performance simulation. Students will learn about the different types of performance simulation software on the market and the strengths and weaknesses of each. Students will also gain an understanding of how energy modelling can support both design and client decisions by interpreting simulation results for calculating life-cycle costing of energy efficiency measures.
