This course provides an overview of professional communication skills essential in the field of Behavioural Science. Students study the structure, process and content of various professional reports and essays. Interpersonal communication skills, including verbal and non-verbal communication, are explored and students practice developing both their written and verbal skills. Essay writing, resume writing, designing and delivering presentations and basic library research skills are covered. Students practice writing clear instructions and objective reporting. An introduction to teamwork and adult learning is included.
