The objective of this advanced course is to provide an in-depth understanding of the cognitive-behavioural theory and model, as well as the application of cognitive-behavioural principles in complex clinical situations. Case formulation from a cognitive-behavioural perspective will be emphasized in order to develop efficacious intervention plans. Cognitive and behavioural approaches for depression, anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and trauma will be explored, discussed and practiced. Practical application of skills will be emphasized.
