In the Biostatistics and Research Course, students will develop a working knowledge of statistics as applied to biological and health sciences. This course will help students develop their analytical skills which are important for interpreting and communicating assessments of data. The language and basic concepts of statistics as well as some commonly-used calculation methods are investigated. In this course, learners will be examine and utilize a variety of biostatistical skills such as calculation of mean and standard deviation, probability, sampling, statistical inference, and correlation.
