The course is in two parts. The first on-line portion provides students with working knowledge of statistics applied to biological & health sciences. Analytic skills are developed for interpreting and communicating assessments of data. The language & basic concepts of statistics as well as some commonly-used calculation methods are investigated. In the second face-to-face part of the course mean, probability, sampling, statistical inference & correlation are examined and practiced.
