In the Biostatistics and Research Course, students will be provided with working knowledge of statistics applied to biological and health sciences. This course will help students develop their analytical skills which are important for interpreting and communicating assessments of data. The language and basic concepts of statistics as well as some commonly-used calculation methods are investigated. In this course, learners will be taught a variety of biostatistical skills such as calculation of mean and standard deviation, probability, sampling, statistical inference, and correlation, all of which are examined and practiced.
