Students will explore and analyze interprofessional education as a learning approach and tool to work collaboratively. Key components of interprofessional collaboration will be investigated and collaborative competencies applied to the delivery of effective workplace health and wellness programs. Students will distinguish and discriminate collaborative leadership principles required to formulate, implement and evaluate desired workplace health and wellness outcomes. By appraising the multifactorial nature of interprofessional education, interprofessional collaboration and leadership students will establish the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude to facilitate optimal workplace behavior change to best meet organizational needs.
