In this course, students will be introduced to the concepts of building relational and non-relational database management systems and apply foundational knowledge of the SQL/NoSQL languages. The course will focus on database modeling, relational and entity relationship diagrams to implement basic and advanced designs, and techniques of database normalization. In lab environment, the course applies knowledge using SQL/NoSQL languages to implement both definition and manipulation of database.
