Introduction to Database and SQL for Business Insights and Analytics

In this course, students will be introduced to the concepts of building relational database management systems and apply foundational knowledge of the SQL language. The course will focus on database models, relational and entity relationship diagrams to implement basic and advanced designs, and techniques of database normalization. The course also introduces topics related to data science such as business intelligence and data warehouse. In lab environment, the course applies knowledge using SQL language to implement both definition and manipulation of database.
