On successful completion, the apprentice is able to develop templates, patterns and drawings, to set up power rolling equipment, to fit plate units and pipe and shell sections with components, to describe procedures for destructive and non-destructive testing of materials and to apply visual dimensional and drawing reference checks and quality and production flow inspection methods according to manufacturer's recommendations and specifications and approved industry standards.
