In this, course students examine the structure and associated functions of tissues and cells visualized utilizing various microscopy techniques. Students study the structure of the cells, various tissues and organ systems with an emphasis on functional morphology and the adaptive response. The differences between the appearance of the normal cells and tissues versus diseased counterparts is explored.
