This integrative course is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of the selling profession and sales culture within the financial services industry. The students will understand the skills required to be successful in this field, including prospecting, strategic selling principles, sales presentations, negotiations, consultative selling, selling ethics, identifying communication styles and relationship selling. Emphasis will be placed on developing confidence and professionalism in the selling interaction and enhancing the student's communications, listening, team participation and analytical and problem solving skills.
