This course will serve as an introduction to starting and managing a small business. It will introduce the concepts of entrepreneurialism, the business plan, and the basics of operating a small business. The goal of the course is to give students a basic understanding of the many considerations in the decision to enter independent business, and the steps involved in starting a new enterprise. The course will provide the basics of organizing and managing a small business. The focus of the course is the preparation of a business plan for a small business enterprise.
