This course will prepare students for the rapidly expanding medical esthetic industry. The students will examine the medical environment through client consultation, professional product recommendations and medical esthetic treatments. The hands on component of this course will focus on LED, microdermabrasion, OxyGeneo facials that includes ultrasound and radio frequency for skin tightening, cellulite and fat reduction. Industry standards, regulations, policies, procedures, health, safety, and sanitation and infection control guidelines are practiced. A strong emphasis is placed on the timeliness of services in order to ensure students capability and success in the Global Spa Industry.
