This course will provide students, under Lab Technologist supervision, the opportunity to perform and practice esthetic skills acquired throughout the program. Students will use their knowledge from the previous business and practical courses, and experience in The Humber Spa: Lab 1, to further develop and improve upon performing spa treatments and client services to a professional level. This course will include client services, infection prevention and control, and front-line administrative duties. The students will practice and perfect both traditional and medical esthetic treatments to a level of expertise. Professional attitude, ethical behavior, client care and cleanliness are stressed, as well as the correct use of spa equipment, products, and software. A strong emphasis is placed on the timeliness of services in order to ensure students capability and success in the workplace.
