This course will build on learning accomplished in BSPA 213 - The Medical Spa 1 to prepare the students to administer services in the Medical Spa environment. In this course, students will examine theories and practice chemical peels, laser, and Intense Pulse Light (IPL) in the practical laboratory classroom. Students will also get the opportunity to understand and study the theories behind injectables such as neurotoxins and fillers, skin tightening and fat reduction, as well as microneedling. Industry standards, regulations, policies, procedures, health, safety, and sanitation and infection control guidelines are practiced. A strong emphasis is placed on the timelines of services in order to ensure students capability and success in the Global Spa Industry.
