This course covers contemporary research methods used to investigate business and marketing issues. Students are introduced to research methods, practices, processes and tools that assist in business and marketing decision-making. Students learn how to define business problems/opportunities and state them in terms of clear and concise research objectives. They also develop a research proposal and complete a major primary research project to solve a business problem. Information technology and software are used extensively in the gathering, analysis and reporting of data.
