This course builds on theory and concepts from the Global Business Strategy 1 course. Both courses focus on the strategic management of multinational enterprises (MNEs) in the conduct of international business and explores, in depth, the business environment, culture and practices in the major economies in the region. This second course examines MNEs' development and implementation of locally appropriate strategies for the main functional areas of international business: marketing, organizing, production, logistics, human resources and finance. Emphasis is placed on developing comprehensive business plans for an MNE to enter and compete successfully in a local market in a region.
