The course covers arithmetic and convergence of sequences and series; commonly used tests for convergence of series; power series representations of functions; Taylor and Maclaurin series; first- and higher-order partial derivatives; directional derivatives; gradients; definition of differentiability; derivative matrices; rules for differentiation such as the Chain Rule; rates of change, tangent lines, and tangent planes; critical points and the Second Derivative Test for finding extrema; iterated integrals; double integrals in rectangular and polar coordinates; triple integrals in rectangular, cylindrical, and spherical coordinates; common applications of integration; line integrals of scalar-valued functions over parametrized curves; and surface integrals of scalar-valued functions over parametrized surfaces.
