This course introduces the principles of electrocardiography (ECG), and the foundational skills needed to interpret basic ECG recordings. Students will learn to identify normal cardiac rhythms, calculate heart rate, and recognize key waveform components. The course also covers common abnormalities such as arrhythmias and conduction blocks. Hands-on practice with ECG tracings reinforces learning and prepares students for more advanced interpretation in clinical settings.
