Estimating, Calculation and Layout will take the fundamentals of plan reading learned in Plan's Specifications and Codes, and examines constructions quantities required for estimation and construction layout and practices. Plans, elevations, sections and details will be examined for the purpose of calculating, according to the code, the quantities necessary to be completed a prescribed task. Footings to roof quantities will be examined and calculated in order to give the student the ability to quantify any material in a residential structure.
