Data and client security is a fundamental element of cloud computing development and implementation. Utilizing industry standard guidelines (NIST) and processes students learn to identify and mitigate security threats within the cloud infrastructure. Students work with current industry tools to monitor cloud storage and network infrastructure to determine both preventative and post threat correction necessary to secure data.
