This course parallels the Unix portion, Unix Scripting and the Internet, but in Microsoft Windows environment. Students will learn about the architecture of the current release of Windows 10 and learn about the similarities and differences between the Unix bash shell and object-oriented Windows PowerShell. Using the PowerShell ISE (Integrated Scripting Environment) students will observe and change the properties of files and processes. They will also write scripts to control and manage systems resources and applications such as Microsoft Office.
