Introduction to Software Engineering

Students study the investigation, analysis, design, installation and evaluation of computer systems and application software. In this course the student learns some of the standard tools for the development of software projects and their application to real world systems. Students examine the technical aspects of evaluation, development and maintenance of systems in line with current practices of software engineering. A student's success in this course is highly dependent on his or her participation in the class. This is a Reading and Writing Intensive course.
