Hardware Production Technology

Course Code: CENG 317

Academic Year: 2024-2025

In this project-oriented course, students complete a hardware build such as to construct a mobile application monitored autonomous programmable vehicle that records sensory input to a networked database. This hardware is controlled by an embedded-controller system. Through lectures, demonstrations and practical activities, students develop abilities and gain experience in electromechanical assembly procedures including: recognition, forming, placement and insertion of electronic components, printed circuit board and general soldering techniques, manufacturing and prototyping. Students develop software, quality control and test procedures for the verification of the functions of the project.
