Students will learn about Agile project management methodology by building a product using short cycles of work that allow for rapid production and constant revision. Scrum will be used as a framework for the agile development by using sprint cycles to develop the product. Students will implement the software project planning, cost estimation and scheduling, project management tools, factors influencing productivity and success. Students will also learn productivity metrics, analysis of options and risks, software process standards, process implementation, and approaches to maintenance and long-term software development.
