Students acquire knowledge related to the field components of land surveying and will work in teams to conduct field projects. Students learn the techniques of distance measurement, electronic theodolite operation, automatic leveling and basic global positioning. Students use land surveying measurement systems, appropriate field data recording standards, and conduct computations needed for field operations and error analysis.
