This advanced course builds upon foundational machine learning and deep learning knowledge, focusing on specialized applications within cybersecurity. Students will explore complex ML techniques such as ensemble methods and advanced neural network architectures, including Recurrent Neural Networks, Attention Mechanisms, and Graph Neural Networks. The curriculum also covers natural language processing, enabling students to develop systems capable of understanding human-like text, crucial for automated threat detection and response. Practical, hands-on experiences with real-world datasets are incorporated, allowing students to implement and evaluate AI systems for robust cybersecurity solutions. Additionally, cutting-edge techniques such as transfer learning and federated learning are introduced, preparing students to tackle advanced cybersecurity challenges using AI.
