Capstone Project 1 is the first part of a two-semester culminating experience for students in the Honours Bachelor of Computer Science program. In this course, students will begin a comprehensive project that integrates and applies the knowledge and skills acquired throughout their studies. Working in teams, students will experience solving a real-world, industry-based problem that may span several areas of Computer Science. Students will develop and apply competency-based selection processes and methodologies to research and define the scope of the problem, design and develop a prototype, process, or a solution plan, produce a working implementation plan, and present their work using written, oral, and (if suitable) video reports.
