This course is a study of the growth and development of the child from conception through early childhood, middle childhood and adolescence. Physical, biosocial, cognitive, psychosocial and emotional factors will be considered. Special emphasis will be placed on emotional and behavioral difficulties that may arise due to interruptions of the normal developmental process. This course is a prerequisite for CYC. 208.
