Internship 2: Personal Skills

The students will spend four days a week, for fifteen weeks working directly with children and youth in an Internship setting relevant for CYC practitioners. The Internship will provide opportunities for CYC students to elicit and reflect on supervision and feedback, and utilize this for their professional growth and development. In conjunction with Integrative Seminar, students will be expected to engage in reflective learning to develop self-awareness, emotional regulation and self-care practices. Students will also be encouraged to understand "use of self" in relational practice and be able to demonstrate personal responsibility.This course is a prerequisite for CYC 258 and CYC 353
