This course will examine the impact of biological, psychological and sociocultural factors that affect human sexual behaviour. The course is also geared towards enhancing the student's ability to teach sex education to children and youth, and develop a comfort level with discussions and teachable moments related to sexual issues. A primary learning outcome for students is developing the ability to competently and compassionately deal with diverse and sensitive sexual issues that arise in CYC practice.
