This course offers an in-depth study of digital narrative through exemplary projects, research and readings on narrative structure, and practice proposing, developing, and producing a professional-level digital storytelling project. A collaborative prototyping and workshopping process lets students practice giving and receiving constructive professional feedback, and helps them develop workflows and processes to iterate ideas for creative applications. Students explore different digital platforms for storytelling and practice choosing and developing their production capacity using new and emerging formats.
