Students in this course have the opportunity to bring together aspects from several previous classes to practice strategic content development and selection for a variety of media formats, including blog posts, videos, images, social posts, live streams, and podcasts. This course offers an overview of content strategy, including best practices for developing a content plan for a business purpose, identifying and using content to target an audience, and developing content to push a brand strategy. Key topics may include platform considerations for publishing business content, community management, developing and maintaining a content calendar, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and writing headlines with keywords, engagement metrics and analytics, and social media strategy for business content.
