This course offers a systemic approach of all the components of the heart including arteries, veins, valves, atria, ventricles, among others. It also includes an overview of how blood circulates through the various parts of the heart, through the lungs and it is delivered to the rest of the body. Some of the topics included are cardiac function, electrical conduction, regulation, cellular and vascular structure, and systolic and diastolic function.
