This course will familiarize the students with the best practice standards guide used by medical imaging professionals to provide care to the patient. The student will acquire the skills needed to assess and recognize and adapt to diverse patient needs. This course will also cover topics relevantto procedures used for patients with compromised immunity, patient transfers, vital signs, and transport using proper body mechanics and ergonomics.
