This course offers an introduction tosketchinganddrawingfor interiors that includes the exploration of a variety of mediums.Through applying sketching techniques (freehandand scaled drawings) for one- and two-point perspectives,students will develop observational skills anddemonstratean understanding of proportion.Rendering skills will be developed as an integral part of design communicationwhetherit ispart of the design process or forfinalizedpresentation.The renderingcomponentof the course will also teach students how to work with light sources and include shading in their work. Additionally,students will practicerenderingvarious materials and finishes.
