This lecture and studio course will focus on the research of interior styles and style development. Students will be using historical and contemporary precedents of interiors and their designers to inspire their own creative work and comprehension of design context. Students will develop creative expression through sketching, research, and various modes of recording ideas, facts, and concepts. Through field trips and other formats, students will connect to interior styles and the decorating industry.
