This Business course explores the relationship between the client, contractor, designer / decorator and other consultants, through lectures and assignments. The course includes professional responsibilities and guidelines currently used by interior decorating professionals. Students will discuss the financial aspects of the interior decorating businesses including budgets, estimates and basic contractual agreements. Additionally, learning will include social networking and portfolio development as related to self-promotion/marketing.
