Students explore foundational and essential approaches to planning and supporting individuals, birth to emerging adulthood, with disabilities, through collaborative pedagogical documentation such as: writing observations, interpretations, strengths, summaries, goals, objectives, strategies, recommendations, and reports. Professional writing, case sharing, resource exploration, and working collaboratively in the development of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating consultative approaches are explored. This course augments basic knowledge of development and reinforces an understanding of responsive inclusive practices.
