Social justice, advocacy, leadership and mentorship will be explored as they relate to understanding and building relationships with children, families and communities. Attitudes, perspectives and systemic barriers influence and impact all stakeholders. Traditional and current issues and practices that affect communities will be identified and examined. Responsibilities and strategies to inform public awareness and encourage engagement to create social transformation will be highlighted.
