This course focuses on the use of observation to gain understanding and plan for the individual and group behaviours that occur within the learning environment. Various methods and purposes of observation will be examined while considering the impact of the environment on the child. Objective and professional observations require the utilization of various perspectives and interpretations to gain a holistic understanding of the learning, patterning and change that occur as a child grows and develops.
