This course focuses on developing automated measurement and control systems that incorporate computer-based data acquisition, processing, analysis, logging, and presentation. Through lab projects and companion exercises, students acquire skills in core LabVIEW programming as well as building hardware with sensors, signal conditioning, data acquisition and data conversion elements. Fundamentals in electronic instrumentation and measurements, including principles of common electronic instruments are also introduced.
