In this course students apply Newton's laws and conservation of energy in their labs. They develop conceptual understanding of the core concepts of mechanics and energy such as motion, time, mass, force, momentum, torque, oscillations, energy and thermodynamics through labs, assignments, and project work. Students work together to apply this framework to describe and predict the behaviour of mechanical systems.
