The Capstone Project 1 course is a culminating, project based course in which students apply engineering design principles, technical competencies, and professional skills developed throughout the Information Systems Engineering program. Working in multidisciplinary teams, students research and produce a preliminary design for a software, embedded/IoT, networking, or cybersecurity solution addressing an industry-based problem. Emphasis is placed on project management, communication, and the full engineering design lifecycle, preparing students for professional engineering practice.
