This course introduces students to the concepts and practices of occupational health and safety, disability management, functional capacity evaluation (FCE) and physical demands analysis (PDA). Students comprehensively examine and apply various methods of evaluating an injured worker's abilities using work related functional activities and physical demand requirements. Topics also include an introduction to occupational health and safety regulations, identification of workplace hazards, and the role of disability management in safe return to work.
