This course builds on the skills and abilities gained in EVNT 100 - Introduction to Event Planning. Students will develop their knowledge of event design and production, and then apply their abilities in diverse teams to create an event experience. This skill will then be incorporated in constructing an event proposal, through the integration of menu and beverage design, theme, decor, venue selection, floor plan creation, and production. Supplier Management, Online/Virtual Events, Event Industry technologies, will also be included and implemented. The introduction to elements of food and beverage, technology, and sustainability trends that can be utilized to shape and impact successful events will also be applied. This course lays the foundation which will prepare students for EVNT 200 - Event Execution.
