Death Investigations

In this course, students develop the skills required to systematically process a death scene. Students will be able to properly distinguish between manners of death, better understand wound and injury interpretation, understand the dynamics of child deaths, recovery of bodies from marine settings and understand the role of the forensic investigator in the postmortem examination process. Students will learn valuable steps in preventing mental fatigue and warning signs of burn out.
