This course is the second of the financial controllership courses. The course examines risk analysis in a capital budgeting context and the effects of financing on the valuation of a firm. The use of capital markets, including options and futures, is introduced. The course also covers the use of short-term financing and the management of short-term assets. This is an advanced financial management course built on the first financial management course. Some topics of advanced nature were introduced at a very basic level in the first course but will be discussed in greater depth and detail in this course.
