Integrated Financial Planning

Course Code: FIN 5562

Academic Year: 2024-2025

Students apply the full spectrum of financial planning skills taught in this program to respond to real life situations presented in a case-based format. Increasing complexity of the case studies requires students to integrate knowledge and skills across the 6 major segments of financial planning, with consideration for the inter-relationships among these areas and the impact of economic, political and regulatory environments. Students must apply the code of ethics and practice standards to case-based ethical dilemmas. Students progress through a series of case-based problems similar to those found on an initial professional credentialing exam. Classes are supplemented with opportunities for students to learn and apply a series of study skills and exam writing techniques.
