In this studio-based course, students learn the fundamentals of media production by developing their abilities in time-based film production and other forms of visual output. Through the guided creation of practical projects, supplemented readings, analysis, screenings, and hands-on workshops in camera and sound, students internalize and apply the major conventions of film grammar to their own creative work.
